Date night

Wow, I guess I'm a little late on this...
Hannah arrived on Thursday the 6th at about 9:15 p.m. I then took her to school to meet some of my close friends there! Because she had just spent 6 hours sitting in a car she really wasn't tired at all, so off we went.
We arrived back to the hotel around 10:45 and I sent her to bed ;-).
The next morning, after class, I met her at Spokane Falls Community College. She met with an advisor, then we got a tour of the campus. She's now in the process of registering for classes there and will be attending next fall. Which means she'll be living within 20 minutes of me. Which is a LOT better than 6 hours.
After the tour Hannah and I went to my house and her dad and his girlfriend went to Idaho. Hannah met my "Spokane Family" (the people I live with, that might as well be my grandparents). Soon enough it was time for a haircut, which was long overdue.
I then surprised her with dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was a wonderful dinner! Afterwards, before heading home to watch a movie, I HAD to show her the world's largest Radio Flyer wagon just a short ways away, so I did. It's 27' long and 12' high and can hold as many as 300 people! The handle is a slide.
Back to my house we went. To watch End of The Spear, a movie about missionaries to Ecuador. She ahd never seen the movie, and really enjoyed it.
The next morning we all went to breakfast then I gave her one last hug and kiss. Waved goodbye.

Now I am eagerly waiting until June 10th. When I drive across the state right after my last final just in time to see Hannah graduate on the 11th! I'm planning on spending almost a week at home in Lynden before heading back to Spokane. I hope to be able to see some of you in that time :)

Happiness

Hooray! Next thursday my wonderful girlfriend is coming over to visit me!

Well.... ok, maybe not to visit me particularly... but that's what my brain tells me...
She's really coming to visit a community college in the same city I live in. She's plannign on attending next year. But we will also have time to hang out, I everything planned for a spectacular evening with her! Yet, she does not get to know ahead of time, which kind of erked her ;-). I'll let you all know how it goes :)

Work!

So, I now have a job! I work at Little Caesars. Yes, I did switch to the rival of my former employer Papa Murphy's. But, money is money. I really don't care how I get it, as long as it's legal ;-). I had my first day of work last night and loved it! Everything is just about the same as at Papa Murphy's, except now there is a HUGE oven I have to manuever around! I think my boss is already impressed with my work ethic, b/c I just got called in. I wasn't supposed to work today, but I am now :).
